Palliative Care Petition

The Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA) is a proud member of the Palliative Care Coalition of Canada (PCCC), a group of over 30 national organizations dedicated to improving palliative care for everyone in Canada. We believe that, to achieve quality palliative care for everyone in Canada, we need a well-funded, sustainable national strategy for palliative care.

To that end, the PCCC's advocacy committee has launched a parliamentary petition. The petition calls for the federal government to renew its commitment to palliative care by investing a further $29.8 million to continue implementing the Framework on Palliative Care in Canada. This is the ask from our Pre-Budget Submission.
We kindly ask you to add your signature.

At a time when we need to transform how we deliver care in Canada, a palliative approach to care can help manage many of the challenges we face in our healthcare system. Investing in palliative care will create the capacity for the system transformation we need to deliver person- and family-centered care.

Thank you for standing with us.
With gratitude,
CHPCA
